Jeff Elrod (b. 1966) is an American abstract painter who works in large scale, blending traditional and digital techniques. He experiments with digital photography and Adobe Photoshop in the practice of fine art, causing the viewer to rethink the conceptual roles that come with these tools. Elrod studied at the University of Texas and later at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. His work exists in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Solomon Guggenheim Museum, among others. He lives and works between Marfa, TX and New York, NY.
